Chapter 2 · Pick a Niche, Build a Theme

Two words will keep coming up, so let me define them cleanly. Your niche is the subject of your page, the topic you cover. Your theme is the identity of your page, the look and feel that makes a post recognizable as yours. A strong page has both. The niche gives people a reason to follow. The theme is the reason they remember you.

When you weigh a niche, run it through three simple questions. Does it attract Tier 1 advertiser money? Is there an endless supply of content you can pull from, so you never run dry? And can you stand making it every single day for a year? A niche that passes all three is a niche you can grow.

Chapter 6 · Captions That Turn Views Into Followers

A great clip gets the view. The caption gets the follow. This is the step almost everyone treats as an afterthought, typing a lazy line or a wall of hashtags and moving on. That is a wasted opportunity. Your caption is where a curious viewer decides whether you are worth following.

Your first line is the hook, and it should show something rather than announce it. Pull the viewer straight into the moment or the idea. One short, punchy line that makes them feel the point of the clip is worth more than a paragraph of setup. If the first line lands, they read the rest. If it does not, they scroll.

Chapter 10 · From Finding a Clip to Hitting Post

The routine is straightforward. Find the idea by scanning your feed for a strong, on-theme moment. Go to the source and pull the original clip at good quality. Cut only the exact section you need. Drop it into your template and edit it into your theme. Write the caption. Post it during one of the active windows of your audience. Then repeat.

Here is the truth about speed, so your expectations are right. Even after years of doing this, turning a clip into a finished post takes me roughly thirty minutes to an hour. So when you are starting out, expect it to take longer, sometimes much longer, and do not be discouraged by that. Slowness at the start is normal.

Standout Ideas

Three things you won't unlearn.

The recognition test

Lay ten posts side by side, only three of them yours. If a follower can't pick out your three without reading a handle, your theme is invisible and no one will remember you tomorrow.

The three-question niche filter

Does it attract Tier 1 advertiser money? Is there an endless supply of content to pull from? Can you stand making it daily for a year? Fail one, and you keep looking.

The follower count that pays nothing

Why audience location beats audience size, and how the same follower number can be worth several times more depending on the country behind it.

The Honest Answer

"Isn't the market saturated? Everyone has a theme page now."

Most pages fail not because the space is full, but because they chase raw follower count in low-value niches and never build a recognizable theme. This book is specifically about the two things saturation doesn't touch: picking a niche advertisers actually pay for, and being instantly recognizable in a crowded feed. That's a positioning problem, not a saturation problem.
