These terms cover your use of thebusinessfounders.com, the e-books you buy through the links on it, and the enquiries you send through it. By using the site, downloading a free chapter, or buying an e-book, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Last updated August 18, 2026.
This site belongs to Business Founders and lives at https://thebusinessfounders.com. We publish The Founder Series, four e-books sold as PDF downloads through Gumroad, we give away the opening chapter of each book, and we run an editing service for page owners.

In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Business Founders. "You" means the person using the site or buying a book.
The Founder Series is four e-books: How to Grow a Theme Page From Scratch, Monetizing Your Existing Theme Page, How to Launch a Business With AI, and Growing Your Business With AI. Current prices for single books and for each bundle are shown on the e-books page, and the price at checkout is the price for that order. Each one is a PDF, and Gumroad delivers the file instantly after purchase.
Gumroad is the merchant of record for every order. Gumroad processes the payment, handles sales tax, and delivers the download. This site never sees or stores your card details. When you check out, Gumroad's own terms and privacy policy apply to that transaction alongside these terms, so it is worth reading them.
The opening chapter of each book is free. You can download a book's first chapter straight from its page with no email required, or get a four-chapter sampler through a free Gumroad product that asks for an email address.
If a download link does not arrive or a file will not open, email hello@thebusinessfounders.com and we will help you get the file you paid for. Because Gumroad takes the payment and sends the download, some problems have to be settled through Gumroad's own support, and we will point you there when that is the case.
When you buy a book you get a personal, non-transferable license for one reader, which is you. Read it on your own devices and print a copy for yourself if you prefer paper.
You may not resell it, share the file, pass it to a friend or a team, or redistribute it in any form. Do not upload the PDF anywhere: no file sharing sites, no cloud folders open to others, no course platforms, no forums, no group chats, no training sets for AI models.
You may not repackage, translate, or rewrite the material and sell it as your own, and you may not copy substantial parts of it into your own product, course, or newsletter. We keep the copyright in everything we publish.
Quoting a short passage with credit is fine. If you want to use a book with a team, a class, or a cohort, email us first and we will talk about it.
The books are educational. They set out our own experience and opinions on building theme pages, monetizing an audience, and using AI in a business.
They are not financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and we are not licensed advisors. Nothing in them is a recommendation tailored to your situation.
We do not promise any income, revenue, follower count, or business result. What you get out of the material depends on your effort, your market, your timing, and factors none of us control. Treat any example in the books as an illustration, not a forecast.
Before you make a financial, tax, or legal decision, speak to a qualified professional in your own country.
Much of what we teach happens on platforms we do not own, including Instagram and Gumroad. Each of them has its own terms of use, community guidelines, and policies, and they change those rules often.
Following those rules is your responsibility. Nothing in our books overrides them, and if a tactic in a book conflicts with a platform's current policy, the platform's policy wins.
We are not responsible for account restrictions, bans, takedowns, reach changes, algorithm changes, or anything else a platform does to your account.
All e-book sales are final. There is no money-back guarantee, no trial period, and no refund window. Once a file has been delivered, it cannot be returned, so please decide before you pay.
This is why the first chapter of every book is free. Read it, decide whether the writing and the approach are for you, and only then buy. That free chapter is the try before you pay step, and it is deliberate.
Gumroad has its own dispute process, and your bank or card provider allows chargebacks. Those routes are real and we are not pretending otherwise, but they are run by Gumroad and your payment provider, not by us, so we cannot control or promise any outcome there. If something is wrong with an order, email hello@thebusinessfounders.com first and we will do what we can.
Our editing service takes applications through the form on the site, which collects your name, Instagram handle, email address, and optionally a Telegram handle. No payment is taken on the site.
Applying is not a contract. It does not book work, reserve a slot, or set a price. It starts a conversation. We may decline an application, and we may not reply to every one we receive.
If we do go ahead, the scope, price, and timeline will be agreed separately in writing before any work starts. Only that agreement creates an obligation on either side.
Editor careers and applications are not open at the moment. If that changes, we will say so on the site and on Instagram.
You are welcome to read the site, download the free chapters we offer, buy a book, and contact us.
Please do not try to break into the site, its hosting, or anyone's account, scrape or copy the site at scale, use it to distribute unlawful or abusive material, impersonate us or anyone else, work around payment for a paid product, or interfere with the site or with other visitors.
If someone does any of that, we may refuse to sell to them, revoke access to anything we control, report the activity to the platform or host involved, and take any other step open to us.
We may change prices, edit or update a book, change what is in the bundle, add or withdraw free chapters, or stop selling something, at any time and without notice. The price shown at checkout is the price for that order. If the price later goes up or down, that does not change what you paid, and it does not entitle you to a credit for the difference or oblige you to pay more.
If we revise a book after you have bought it, we may make the new version available through Gumroad, but we do not promise free lifetime updates.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages and is provided as is. We do not promise that it will always be available, error free, or free of interruptions.
The site and the books are provided as is, without warranties of any kind beyond those the law requires.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, wasted spend, business interruption, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, the books, or anything you decide to do after reading them.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for the product the claim relates to.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud.
We may update these terms as the business changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised.
The version live at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to that purchase. If you keep using the site after we post an update, you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which Business Founders operates, and the courts of the country in which Business Founders operates have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
Most of our readers are in the United States. If the consumer law where you live gives you rights that cannot be signed away, these terms do not take those rights from you.
