Every e-book sold here is a digital download, and digital downloads are final sale. That is the short version. The rest of this page explains what that means, what we can still fix when something goes wrong, and how to reach a person about it.
When you buy one of the books in The Founder Series, the complete PDF is delivered to you instantly through Gumroad. There is no shipping and no way to hand the file back. Once it is on your device, you have the entire product you paid for.
So we do not offer refunds and we do not offer a money-back guarantee. Final sale means we will not refund you for changing your mind, or for deciding after reading that the book was not for you. We would rather write that plainly than imply a safety net that is not there.
If a guarantee is what you need before you spend anything, read the free chapter first. It costs nothing, and it will tell you more about the writing than any refund promise would.
The opening chapter of every book is free. All four of them. Each book page offers that book's first chapter as a direct PDF download, with no email address and no signup of any kind.
There is also a free four-chapter sampler through Gumroad if you would rather have all four openings in one place. That one asks for an email address, which is the only difference.
The free chapters exist for exactly this reason. You can read the real writing, at the real standard, and decide before you pay for a single book or a bundle.
Final sale does not mean you are stuck with a broken file. If your download link does not work, if the PDF is corrupt or will not open, or if you were sent the wrong title, email hello@thebusinessfounders.com and we will get you a working copy of the book you paid for.
That is a delivery problem rather than a refund question, and it is the part we can actually solve ourselves. Include the email address you used at checkout and the title of the book, and we can find the order faster.
Do not worry about how long ago you bought it. A file that will not open is a file that will not open, and we would rather hear about it late than not at all.
If you were charged twice for the same book, tell us. A genuine duplicate charge is a billing problem, and we will look into it with you rather than point at the final sale line and stop talking.
Here is the honest limit on what we can do. Gumroad is the merchant of record, so Gumroad takes the payment and Gumroad is the party that can put money back. We can check the orders, confirm what we see, and raise it with Gumroad, but the decision sits with them under their own policies and we cannot promise a refund on their behalf.
Email hello@thebusinessfounders.com with both order confirmations from Gumroad and we will start there. If instead you bought a single title and then bought the four-book bundle, that is a change of mind rather than a billing error, so please treat a refund as unlikely. You are still free to ask Gumroad directly.
Gumroad is the merchant of record for every purchase. Gumroad takes the payment, handles sales tax, and holds the transaction record. This website never sees or stores your card details.
Because Gumroad is the merchant, it can issue a refund independently under its own policies, whatever this page says. You can raise a dispute directly with Gumroad through its own process, and your bank's chargeback process exists as well. Those routes are open to you, they are outside our control, and nothing on this page removes them.
This policy is published in full, in plain English, so you can read it before you reach checkout rather than after. Completing a purchase means you accept that the download is final.
We are not burying it in small print after the money moves, and nothing written here is meant to take away a right you have under the law where you live.
